Today marked the beginning of a new and energising chapter as I met with Emma Keon for our first official mentor session through the Roscommon Local Enterprise Office. Emma, the creative force behind the rapidly growing Emma’s Little Studio brand, is an inspiring example of the next generation of entrepreneurs who are shaping the future of local business. Working with ambitious founders like Emma is a core part of what drives Smart Digital Marketing & PR Agency, and it is always a privilege to play a role in supporting their development.

As a mentor with the Local Enterprise Offices, my focus is on helping business owners build clarity, strengthen their digital presence, and implement strategies that enable long-term growth. Our session today centred around brand positioning, audience targeting, and the practical roadmap required to elevate Emma’s Little Studio into its next phase of expansion. Emma’s creativity, ambition, and commitment to her craft made this an incredibly productive start, and I am confident that the months ahead hold exciting opportunities for her brand.
I would also like to acknowledge Rosie and the team at The QUAD Youth Centre for providing such a fantastic space for local business collaboration. The QUAD continues to be one of Roscommon’s most accessible and supportive community facilities, and its room rental service is a valuable asset for mentors, educators, and small business owners who need a reliable, professional environment to meet clients or run sessions. Their efficiency and hospitality make the entire process seamless, and it is always a pleasure to work from their space.
At Smart Digital Marketing & PR Agency, supporting entrepreneurs is more than consultancy work; it is a commitment to strengthening the wider business ecosystem across the West of Ireland. From creatives and makers to service providers and start-ups, our region is filled with talent that deserves guidance, visibility, and strategic support. Mentorship is one of the most impactful ways to help emerging founders gain the knowledge, confidence, and structure they need to grow sustainably.
Working with women in business is particularly meaningful for me. Having launched and scaled my own agency, I understand the challenges, ambitions, and resilience that define the entrepreneurial journey. Empowering female founders to refine their strategy, elevate their digital presence, and tell their story with confidence is central to the work I do every day.
As Emma continues to grow the Emma’s Little Studio brand, I look forward to supporting her progress and celebrating the milestones that lie ahead. Collaboration, community, and continuous learning remain at the heart of what drives real business impact, and today was a strong reminder of why mentorship matters.
